Wenty Newsletter - 24 June 2024

MiClub launch date & the latest Renascent updates on the new Clubhouse.

Wednesday, July 3, is the official day the new booking software (MiClub) goes live. MiClub representatives will be on-site to help with the latest scoring style and enter scores at the completion of the round.

Naturally, we want as many members on site as possible to understand this technology, so we have set up an Individual Stableford event for both men and women. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about this new technology and its advantages for the membership base.

It is important to remember the MiScore App is for scoring purposes only, it is not for booking in any form of competition or social play. This App essentially replaces your scorecard during competition play. We can begin using the App on 3 July.

Once the new club is opened you will not be required to hand your card into the Pro Shop, scores will either be confirmed on the App or by using the touch screen which will be located in the reception desk at the main entry of the club.

UPCOMING GOLF THIS WEEKEND

With our Software companies changing hands on 1 July there have been some necessary changes made to the program for this weekend. Those changes have been made as we will be unable to play any events where players handicaps can change.

Saturday 29 June – remains unchanged and will be the second round of the Banjo Patterson Trophy (4BBB Stableford).

Sunday 30 June – will move from an Individual Stableford to a 2 Person Ambrose.

LADIES AND JUNIOR CLINICS COMING UP AT WENTY

Stay tuned for updates on classes to begin Mid July. Once we have moved to the new Pro Shop, dates will be locked in for Ladies and Junior classes.
